Although the Land Rover is not exactly a "truck", it is undoubtly the most used 4x4 in world adventure travel, and therefore, could not be left out.This particular blog, one of my favourites, is absolutly unavoidable. By it's content, hundreds of fantastic people and scenery pictures, the duration of this two year travel and the many different countries visited (South America, Africa and Asia), but above all, as the perfect example of familiy courage and the great results of the endeavour.
A young couple and four kids, on a Land Rover, over miles amd miles of "not so charted" territory has got to be an "out of this world (as we know it) experience. Thancks, Daniel, Catherine, Sacha, Lisa, Emma and Luka, for the inspiration and for sharing.
Embora o Land Rover não seja própriamente um camião, certo é que não poderia ficar fora deste site pois é incontestávelmente o vehículo mais utilizado em viagens "aventura". Este blog em particular, um dos meus favoritos, é absolutamente imperdivel. Pelo seu conteúdo, centenas de fotografias de sitios e gentes de quase todo o mundo (América do Sul, África e Ásia), pela duração da viagem, dois anos calcoreando estradas mais ou menos "mapeadas", mas acima de tudo por considerar que esta é uma experiencia "fora deste mundo", pela coragem desta jovem familia de 6. This is one of the most friendly Unimog travel and preparation pages I have come across (personal opinion). Tom & Janey, not forgetting Alf, have got to be great people.The list of visited countries (mainly Africa) is too big to describe and ultimately they liked some so much they are now residing in Malawi, running a campsite in the capital, Lilongwe. A must see blog!

A lista de países visitados, principalmente em Africa e incluindo Angola e Moçambique, é demasiado extensa para a descrever. Rob Gray is the amazing designer/builder of the most disturbing giant motorhome truck built in Australia and possibly the world. In his construction diaries he shares the secrets of his ingenious designs and abundantly describes and pictures the enormous work involved in the fabrication of his two extraordinary creations: Whotahellizat One and Two.
On top of it all, his nature fotography section, where you can purchase his prints, that granted him to be regularly archived by the National Library of Australia as a "publication of national significance", is a stunning portrait of Aussie land and wildlife. A hard find you cannot miss!
Rob Gray é o incrivel conceptor/constructor do mais perturbador dos camiões autocaravana gigantes construidos na Austrália e provávelmente no resto do mundo. Nos seus diários de construção, partilha sem reservas os segredos das suas invenções explicando e documentando abundante e claramente a enorme quantidade de trabalho envolvida na concepção e construção das suas duas extraordinárias criações: Whotahellizat (masquediaboeisto)Um e Dois.
Para completar, a sua secção de fotografia da natureza, que lhe valeu o titulo de "publicação de relevâcia national" pela Biblioteca Nacional da Australia que regularmente "arquiva" o seu blog, e onde poderá adquirir as suas fotografias, é um retrato fascinante das paisagens e fauna australianas.
